Since 2001, the CWRC has been dedicated to providing veterinary care and rehabilitation for injured, orphaned, and sick wildlife. On average we care for 150-200 animals every year and each year the numbers of animals requiring assistance keeps growing. We rely solely on donations and fundraising to make this happen and everyone at CWRC works as a volunteer.
We are always in need of additional volunteer support; and though we do have specific areas where volunteers are most needed, any donation of time or skills is greatly appreciated.
Areas where we require specific help include: animal care, pickup and transport of animals to CWRC, administrative assistance, fundraising, book-keeping and accounting, construction of enclosures, and education program development and delivery.
If you are interested being a volunteer with CWRC feel free to contact us by phone (902-893-0253) or email to discuss present opportunities.
If you’re interested in volunteering you may like to read the Volunteer Information Sheet.
