CWRC's mission is to provide veterinary care and rehabilitation to
Nova Scotia's injured and orphaned wildlife for release into the wild.

CWRC News & Updates

WildSnacks: CWRC news for busy folks on the go!

  • We are at the NS Provincial Exhibition August 6-10! Come visit our booth in the Somebeachsomewhere Pavilion and ask about our daily talks Thursday-Sunday. We have a great door prize, bird boxes, bat boxes, and WestJet raffle tickets!

  • We will be at the Yarmouth Farmer's Market on Aug 2 from 8:30-1 and at the Sheffield Mills Market on Aug 3 from 10-2.

  • Have you heard about our WestJet Fundraising Raffle! We have a round trip flight for two to any regularly scheduled WestJest location. The raffle is open to NS residents only and tickets are available in person at upcoming events around NS. Check out our socials and visit us in person to learn more!

  • We will be at the Tatamagouche Grain Elevator July 12 from 9-1:30.

  • Raffle Prize for Rock the Harbour tickets has been awarded and claimed on July 5th! Thank you Rock the Harbour and all of our supporters who purchased raffle tickets!

  • We will be at the Sheffield Mills Market from 10-2 and at the Hubbards Farmer's Market's Strawberry Festival from 10-4 on July 5th!

  • Door Prize for the sticker launch has been awarded and claimed on July 1st! Thank you Bike Monkey/Ice Monkey for the amazing door prize and thank you to all of our supporters who purchased stickers! 

  • We met our $10k incubator and baby season fundraising goal! Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible, you're amazing!! :) 

  • We are looking for volunteers. This isn't new, but it's always true!)

Found an Animal in Distress? 

Do

  • Call your local wildlife rehabilitation centre

  • Stay safe and protect yourself

  • Avoid direct contact with the animal

Don't

  • Put yourself at risk

  • Offer the animal food or water

  • Chase the animal
